My Story

My name is Noah French, and I am a Visual Effects student at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta. About two years ago, at 28, I decided to return to school and fully commit to a field I had always been deeply fascinated by: visual effects. It was a big step, but it has become one of the most defining choices I’ve made. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in developing both the artistic and technical skills needed to contribute meaningfully to this ever-evolving industry.

I specialize in FX simulation, real-time environments, and virtual production, combining Houdini workflows with Unreal Engine to create production ready visuals. I’m especially drawn to the space where art and technology intersect, where technical problem solving directly supports storytelling. Whether I’m building simulations, designing environments, or collaborating within a virtual production pipeline, my goal is always to create work that feels grounded, intentional, and visually compelling.

I’m passionate about helping bring extraordinary worlds and moments to life on screen, and I’m actively seeking opportunities in visual effects and immersive media where I can continue learning, collaborate with talented teams, and contribute to meaningful creative work.
